最和气：自由永远不能超过一代人，就会消失

里根说：Our Founding Fathers,here in this country , brought the only true revolution that has ever taken place in man’s history.Every other revolution simply exchanged one set of rulers for another set of rulers.But only here did that little band of men so advanced beyond their time that the world has never seen their like since,evolve the idea that you and i have within ourselves the God-given right and the ability to determine our own destiny.But freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. we didn’t pos it on to our children in the bloodstream.The only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it ,protect it,defend it and then hand it to them with the well thought lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same.And if you and i don’t do this,then you and i may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children and our children’s children what it once was like in america when men were free.

里根说：自由永远不能超过一代人，就会消失，自由不是通过血液遗传给我们的孩子们继承的，如果你要你的孩子也过上自由的日子，唯一的方式就是为自由而战，保护自由，捍卫自由。我们必须在我们有生之年将如何得到自由的相关的经验教训教会给我们的孩子。如果我们不这样做，你在晚年的时候只会告诉我们的孩子，曾今我们多么幸福，曾今的我们拥有自由。
